CARTOON of the DAY: Summer 'Safety'

I wasn't really making fun of efforts like those listed in this cartoon for The News-Herald. As a parent of three, I understand the importance of keeping all our kids safe. That said, as a Baby Boomer who never wore a bike helmet (despite more than a few daredevil rides Downriver!), and went through the annual burn-then-tan cycle every summer - I kind have to ask myself (and all of you) ... "How did we survive to adulthood?!"
