Crain's Detroit Business - September 5
I've visited Sleeping Bear Dunes many times and they are, indeed, a beautiful natural wonder; but I've seen other breath-taking views in Utah, Wyoming, Virginia, and many other states - and it would be impossible for me to name one "most beautiful" (home state pride aside). Sleeping Bear Dunes' status as "Most Beautiful Place in America," according to the recent Good Morning America viewers' poll, is more a testament to the power of social media - I think - than a testament to nature's handiwork. That's the Point!
Off the Drawing Board: One of my alternative ideas for this week was about GE hiring locally, in the metro Detroit area, to keep our best and brightest (and young and talented) from migrating to other parts of the country to build their careers.
