The North American International Auto Show always gets the New Year off to a great start for us metro Detroiters (well, maybe not last year ...). The 2010 edition features "Electric Avenue" - a showcase of electric vehicles that are road-read, and the "EcoXperience," a landscaped road coarse in the basement of Cobo Center that allows NAIAS visitors to ride in some of the electric vehicles on display upstairs. I took the EcoXperience during Press Days and found the landscaping distracting - I would have rather just had a straight-away (without the trees and waterfalls) where I could have just opened up a few of those electrics!
That's the Point!
