I was a History co-major in college (Wayne State University), and history has remained a life-long interest of mine. This week, I had the opportunity to celebrate local history in both
The News-Herald and
The Press & Guide with the opening of the Gibraltar Historical Museum Downriver, and the celebration of of 50 historic years for the Islamic Center of America in Dearborn. Best wishes to both communities - let's keep making history!
