The News-Herald - September 11
|
"Where were you when the first plane hit?" "What did you think happened when you first heard?" "What did you tell your kids?" These and other questions have be asked today, the 15th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the U.S. While the answers to these questions are personal, the memory is collective. Let's remember those who lost their lives and their families, let's remember the survivors who still struggle with their memories, and let's remember the sense of unity that our nation shared in the aftermath of this tragedy.
That's the Point.
