Downriver has been through some tough times. Let's face it, no matter what business you're in around here, you're in the automotive business. It's not just auto workers who've felt the pain of the economic downturn, it's the owners and workers at the dry cleaners, grocery stores, restaurants and other local businesses that auto workers patronize as well. But now, as things seem to be turning around at little, it's time to take a few moments to feel good about ourselves - about what we've lived through, and about the future we're helped build. There's a ways to go, no doubt, and there will probably still be more than a few bumps in the road, but I think we can all look with hope and pride to the "good new days" ahead. That's the Point!
