CARTOON of the DAY: Winter - NOT a 'Blast' Now

The News-Herald - February 24
I drew this for my News-Herald readers Downriver, but it certainly applies to everyone in the metro Detroit area. Feel free to substitute "Detroit" or "Michigan" or the name of your hometown for "Downriver" and then let's collectively cross our fingers and hope that this is winter's last blast!
That's the Point!

CARTOON of the DAY: It's a Real Zoo

Crain's Detroit Business - February 18
The Detroit Zoo is an asset, and a treasure, to the entire metro Detroit area. When some communities filed suit to keep the special tax funds collected for support of the Detroit Zoo, I couldn't help but wonder, "Who is the higher life form?"
That's the Point!

Off the Drawing Board: Another cartoon idea I offered to my editors at Crain's Detroit Business for February 18 focused on the media fascination with Jennifer Granholm and speculation about her "life after broadcasting." The zoo rough, as you can see, varies only slightly from the final that ran in Crain's Detroit Business.

CARTOONS of the DAY: Happy Valentine's Day!

The News-Herald - February 13

The Press & Guide - February 13
Last Wednesday, I provided these "public service" do-it-yourself Valentines for the men Downriver and in Dearborn, just in case they forgot to prepare properly for Valentines Day.
