As we struggled through the worst snowfall and most frigid temperatures of many of our lifetimes, I could think of only one message to send to my Dearborn Press & Guide readers - "Hang in there, spring's coming!"

Off the Drawing Board: I sent the same message to my readers Downriver, in The News-Herald. I grew up there, and couldn't help but think that we wouldn't have had the three "snow days" that my daughter enjoyed tacked on to the end of her holiday vacation. We woulda' gone to school, and we woulda' walked!
